BIOGRAPHY:
Olop Arpipi is a Senior Certified senior Iyengar Teacher who hails from Indonesia. Born in 1965 in Surabaya, he has studied many times, in Pune, with Guruji Sri B.K.S Iyengar, Sri Gitaji and Sri Prashantji.
Olop first started his yoga studies in the early 1990s with Senior Iyengar Teacher Judith Adank of Switzerland. Her Iyengar style with its focus on precision, and its attention to detail, resonated with him immediately, and led him to a deep understanding of his internal movement and landscape. This gradually led to him becoming a teacher himself. He is now mostly based in his Iyengar Yoga Studio in Bali, Indonesia. He also teaches extensively abroad, running classes and workshop in Australia, China, Europe, India, Japan, Maldives, Taiwan, and the USA.
Olop works easily and joyfully with students of all levels from beginner to advanced. His focus is always to try to to help students benefit from his extensive studies and his felt personal expericnes in his practice of yoga.
