Guruji taught us that to experience Meditation one needs to first experience relaxation of the Body. When we take on simple support in our Asana practice we can invoke the response of relaxation of the body, which in turn lets our Mind relax. This exploration into relaxation of the Body and Mind expands our capacity to feel the breath and the vastness within. In this class we will use simple support of a chair and bolsters to practice our Asanas. Though we will be using support in this practice, we will be active and intentional in our movement.
Props needed are a chair, a blanket or two, a strap and if possible a bolster.
