BIOGRAPHY: Holly Hoffmann

Holly Hoffmann lives in Palm Desert, CA, and is a certified Iyengar Yoga Teacher CIYT at the Senior level. Holly has been teaching for over 15 years, and been a student of Iyengar Yoga for more than 25 years. She opened Iyengar Yoga Palm Desert 10 years ago and has a dedicated student body, she holds ongoing general classes as well as workshops, and retreats.

Holly began her yoga journey walking into her very first class as a student of Kofi Busia in Santa Cruz, CA she has also traveled to Pune, India many times to study directly with the Iyengar family. Holly continues to mentor with her teacher Cathy Rogers Evans of Brighton UK. Holly also has experience assisting students with Iyengar Yoga Therapy and is IAYT certified, she has studied yoga therapy numerous times with Lois Steinberg and taken classes from many other International Senior CIYT’s.

Holly’s personal dedication to the intellectual and spiritual components of yoga led her to pursue a path of teaching Iyengar Yoga to others. With patience and humor she encourages students to progress in their practice and transform themselves in the process.

Holly has also mentored long time students to become CIYT’s and begin their path of teaching Iyengar Yoga. Jump on your mat and see what comes of your efforts. Beginners, Seniors, as well as long time yoga students are welcome in her classes!
